A Chicago native, Dr. Muhammad received her bachelor’s degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology and her medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School. She completed her residency at Mount Sinai Hospital and is board certified in internal medicine. Dr. Muhammad is a member of the American Medical Women’s Association, Doctors Without Borders, and is a National Health Service Corps Scholar Alum. “My philosophy of care is to treat the entire patient—mind, body and soul, to listen to the patient’s complaints and desires, and to attempt to find a solution to their problems,” she says. Dr. Muhammad speaks English, Spanish and German, and is currently learning Mandarin and Cantonese. She enjoys theater, movies, board games, sports, and spending time with family.
Nativa de Chicago, la Dra. Muhammad, recibió su diploma universitario del Illinois Institute of Technology y su diploma médico de Rosalind Franklin University Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School. Completó su residencia de medicina interna en el Mount Sinai Hospital y está certificada para el ejercicio de la medicina interna. La Dra. Muhammad es miembro de la Asociación Estadounidense de Mujeres Médicas, de Médicos sin Fronteras, y es ex alumna de la beca del Cuerpo Nacional de Servicios de Salud. “Mi filosofía sobre el cuidado del paciente es tratarle el cuerpo, la mente y el alma así como escuchar sus quejas y deseos y buscarle una solución a sus problemas”. Tracy habla inglés, español y alemán y actualmente está aprendiendo mandarín y cantonés. En sus ratos de ocio disfruta del teatro, el cine, el deporte, los juegos de mesa y pasar tiempo con su familia.
